the artist behind oh so…

Whilst completing my BA Honours Degree in Fashion, Design, Styling & Promotion, I soon realised my heart was drawn to design and print. For my final project, I designed a fashion magazine with bespoke illustrations and instantly felt inspired and connected to the print element. It was at this moment that I knew I wanted to be a designer.

 

After years of working in Fashion Buying, I found myself wanting creative freedom and something uniquely my own. I’ve always been creative at heart and had an artistic vision for weddings. From the very beginning, I’ve always loved the enchantment of weddings and all that they represent, especially coming from a large Greek-Cypriot family – family celebrations are everything to us.

 

In 2016, Oh So was born fuelled by three passions that still to this day are at the very heart of Oh So. The first is my deep love for weddings. I love the magic of love stories and the unique moments that make each wedding day a beautiful celebration – I guess you could say I’m an old-school romantic at heart. The second is my passion for all things design and the desire to turn your dreams into reality through artistry. And lastly, my devotion and heritage to all things paper and print. From the high-quality thickness of cardstock, ink tones, and all the timeless stationery details and accessories.

 

For me, there’s no better feeling than receiving a physical paper invitation, especially in such a digital world that we live in.

the history

A history rooted in ink and creativity my family has been in the printing industry for many generations. It all started with my Grandfather, whose printing presses were nestled in the heart of Kings Cross, London. As a young girl, I remember growing up surrounded by the comforting hum of printing machines and the scent of ink, fostering a love for the art of printing. My Father then continued the family tradition and founded his own printing company, Orion Design & Print.

 

The memories of my childhood remain with me today and have left a mark on my heart – something I’m incredibly proud of.
